“ACHOO!” Violet sneezed. “Excuse me, I think I might be allergic to – ACHOO! – allergic to guinea pigs!”

Fur and fluff was rising from their pen, making Violet’s sneezing attack worse. We decided we’d better leave. Mrs. Finn gave us a bag of fishy tuna treats for Watson.

That gave me an idea. The guinea pigs in the pet store loved the treats so much – maybe they would tempt a ghostly guinea pig too? We still aren’t sure whether ghosts actually eat things but it’s worth a try. Mrs. Finn gave us some of the dandelion and burdock seed treats to use as bait to try and catch a ghostly guinea pig.

“Good luck solving the mystery!” Mrs. Finn called as she launched into another dance rehearsal with Spangle. She spun toward the back of the store, knocking over a pile of dog food cans as she went.
